Using the tools
Every converter and guide on this site is free to use, with no account, no sign up, and no payment required for anything currently on the site. You can use the tools as often as you like for personal, educational, or commercial work.
Accuracy of results
The conversions on this site use standard, well established binary, decimal, hex, and ASCII logic, and they are built and tested to be correct. Even so, no tool is guaranteed to be free of bugs or edge case errors, and you are responsible for double checking any result you plan to rely on for something important, like production code, coursework you’ll be graded on, or anything else where a mistake would actually matter. Binary Converters is not liable for decisions made based on a result from this site.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site in a way that damages it or blocks other people from using it, including automated scraping at a volume that puts real load on the server, attempting to break or bypass any part of the site, or using it for anything illegal. Reasonable personal or small scale automated use of the tools is fine.
Content and ownership
The writing, guides, and design on this site belong to Liam. You’re welcome to link to any page here, or quote a short passage with credit and a link back, but copying whole pages or guides onto another site is not allowed without asking first. Nothing about the tool output itself, the actual converted binary, hex, decimal, or text you generate, is owned by anyone, it’s your own data.
Third party links
Some pages on this site may link out to other websites for further reading. Those sites are run independently, Binary Converters has no control over their content and isn’t responsible for what they say or do.
Changes to the site and these terms
Tools, guides, and pages on this site may be added, changed, or removed at any time. These terms may also be updated as the site changes, for example if advertising gets added later. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
