About Us

Hi, I’m Liam. I built binaryconverters.com because I kept needing to convert binary, hex, decimal, and ASCII values for small coding projects, and most of the tools I found online buried the actual conversion under ads or gave me a result with no explanation of how it got there. So I built the tools I wanted to use myself, free, fast, and paired with a plain explanation of what’s actually happening behind each result.

What’s on this site

Right now that means a full set of converters, binary to text, binary to hex, binary to decimal, and the reverse of each, plus a growing set of guides that explain the ideas behind them: what binary code actually is, how ASCII maps characters to numbers, and why computers use binary in the first place. There are also reference pages, like the full ASCII table and the binary number charts, for anyone who just wants to look a value up instead of calculating it by hand.

Free, private, and instant

Every converter on this site runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or paste gets sent to a server, so your input stays on your own device and the result shows up instantly. There’s no account, no email required, and nothing here sits behind a paywall.
